Interactive Japanese Instrumental Concert Experience in Nagoya

This is Japan’s first ever special stage event designed specifically for international guests by a world famous Koto artist Rie Asai.

Enjoy a unique theatrical performance featuring traditional Japanese musical instruments, the koto, sho, hichiriki, sangen, and kagura bells, Japanese bells, Japanese drums, accompanied by storytelling. The performance is based on the Japanese myth “Amano Iwato”a tale that symbolizes happiness and good fortune. “Amano Iwato” is one of the tales of Kojiki, the oldest tales of Japan.

You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with the performing artists and try playing the Japanese instruments by yourself.
The venue is Noh Theatre Practice Room where
you wouldn’t normally go. You enjoy a majestic pine tree and this time you can come up to the stage and watch it closely. Photo s are permitted this time.
